Hey guys! I’m Alex Outhwaite, I’m a travel presenter / travel show host and adventurer. I’ve visited, lived & worked in nearly 90 countries and the list is ever growing.
As a travel presenter I’ve hosted shows for over a decade that are broadcast on Amazon Prime, SKY, Discovery Plus and Travelxp.
My work as a Travelxp host / Travel Presenter for Travelxp!
I became a Travelxp host in 2013! My first Travelxp show was called ‘Quest’ and saw me visiting 17 states across India where I cooked alongside Indian royals, food historians and restauranteurs. The concept was that we would recreate ‘forgotten dishes’, dishes that are either too time consuming, too expensive or have difficult to obtain ingredients.
It was a wonderful experience and a fantastic introduction to India for me – a country that I am very fond of, as well as what helped launch my career as a travel presenter. Quest was even nominated for Travel Show of the Year at the Indian Telly Awards!
Since then I have been a Travelxp host on shows in a variety of places around the world including South Africa, Croatia, Spain, Uzbekistan & in other areas of India including Ladakh and my most recent show for them ‘Timeless Tamil Nadu.’
